1st September 2013 - Sale of 32 Rue Perrissol
We are pleased, if a little sad to announce the sale of our apartment at 32 Rue Perrissol. Bought in 2007, 32 Rue Perrissol in the old town of Cannes, le Suquet, was our first large renovation project in Cannes. The building was over 120 years old and the apartment had not been significantly renovated for many many years. So in keeping with our strategy we restored as many original features as possible and modernised the rest of the apartment. With its high ceilings, long balcony and old town location the apartment was a huge hit with holiday clients. And being just a 6 to 7 minutes walk from the Palais the apartment equally appealed to business guests.
So you may wonder why we sold such a wonderful asset? The answer is simple. Over the last 3 years we have decided to target larger 3 bedroom apartments on or just off Rue Meynadier. We find this central Cannes location is optimal for both conference and holiday guests and having all our apartments in the same location allows us to cater for signicantly larger groups. At present we can offer 8 bedrooms, sleeping up to 16 on rue Meynadier and once we acquire another 3 bedroom apartment in the same location that will increase to 11 bedrooms sleeping up to 22 people.
Although it is a little emotional selling our first completed apartment, we are now very much looking forward to our next project of a new 3 bedroom apartment on Rue Meynadier.
